Very short footage below. I still had the 'outdoor' case on which is why the sound is so quiet.

Go Pro Hero HD Motorsport
One of the most popular standalone HD camera used in motorsport, I had to have one to capture trackday footage. I found a supplier in the US and managed to get a seriously good deal. Very pleased indeed.

Smoothed & Re-Painted Cam Cover
I commisioned Bren aka Brencivic from the CTR forum to paint me a Championship White cam cover. Once it was ready I made the journey up to Chesterfield to pick it up and get it fitted. I also brought along a carbon fiber plug cover that I had purchased a while back. The results were stunning.

Willans Harnesses
I picked up a pair of second hand Willans harnesses in great condition. Very pleased, Willans are one of the top brands around and are used in F1 frequently.

Track Day Goodies
I decided it was time to buy my own helmet, an OMP Superkart with a Custom Gold Iridium Visor. I had found during track sessions that my hands got rather sweaty so I purchased a pair of OMP Wins Top Race gloves as well.
The fit for both items was spot on and the gloves in particular felt like a second skin.
I would have loved to have gone for the Snell approved Arai GP5 helmet, but I would not be looking to compete anytime soon which is why I had gone for the Superkart.
A Snell approved helmet is competition legal for a maximum of 10 years. To explain in simple terms why:

A Snell approved helmet is competition legal for a maximum of 10 years. To explain in simple terms why:
- Snell update their standards every 5 years
- A Snell standard is no longer valid for competition use when the 2nd succssive standard update is released e.g. Take Snell 2000, Snell 2005 and Snell 2010 standards. Snell 2000 is valid for competition use until Snell 2010 is released.
